Fraxel Laser Program
What are They?
Fraxel laser programs are resurfacing treatments designed for the face and other areas of the body, such as the chest, arms, neck, hands, back, abdomen, and legs.
Why are they used?
These lasers are used to address skin that has undergone changes over time, including those caused by sun exposure. The laser energy creates microscopic columns in the skin, triggering the body’s natural process of collagen production. The surrounding skin remains unaffected, allowing for a gradual recovery. This treatment supports the renewal of skin by encouraging the formation of new skin cells.

What types of Fraxel Laser Programs are available?
There are three types of Fraxel Laser Programs. These programs can be adjusted to different energy levels, depths, and wavelengths. Selecting an appropriate program may help in addressing specific skin concerns.

The 3 Types of Fraxel Laser Programs:
Fraxel Refine Program (1410nm) – Operates at lower energy levels, focusing on the shallow areas beneath the skin’s surface at depths of approximately 350 to 650μm. It interacts with water in the skin rather than melanin pigments. This program is designed for use on various skin types and tones.
Fraxel Restore Program (1550nm) – Penetrates deeper into the skin compared to the Refine program, covering depths of approximately 350 to 1400μm. It interacts with both water in the skin and melanin pigments.
Fraxel Dual Program (1550nm and 1927nm) – Utilizes two wavelengths to address both the upper and deeper layers of the skin. This program is used in treatments targeting various skin conditions, including acne-related concerns, dark spots, melasma, sun spots, wrinkles, large pores, scars, and signs of sun exposure.

BSL Clinic provides laser programs that help improve the appearance of scarring, acne, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and skin brightness. Each program is designed to support skin care and overall skin health.
