Resurfacing Laser Fraxe Dual

   WHAT IS IT ?

Laser resurfacing is a procedure that uses a laser to improve the appearance of skin or treat minor facial flaws by removing layers of skin. The latest Fraxel laser system is the Fraxel Dual, which provides selective treatment fro resurfacing. One major advantage of fractional laser resurfacing is that it can be used not only on the face but on many areas of the body. This state-of-the-art advanced procedure is a “Total Body Laser.” We can treat a variety of conditions all over the body to improve skin appearance on chest, arms, hands, upper back and even the legs.

  HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Fraxel DUAL 1550/1927 laser treatment targets aging and sun-damaged skin with microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into your skin to expedite your body’s remodeling of collagen. And since the laser treats only a fraction of tissue at a time, it leaves the surrounding tissue intact, which promotes very rapid healing. Fraxel DUAL 1550/1927 treatment resurfaces your skin by stimulating the growth of new, healthy skin cells from the inside out.

Laser resurfacing can be used to treat:
 Acne scars
 Age spots
 Crow's feet
 Droopy eyelids
☉ Enlarged pores
 Melasma
 Sagging skin
 Scars
 Skin discoloration
 Sun-damaged skin
 Wrinkles
 Rough skin
 Uneven skintone

   WHAT TO EXPECT ?

Results are immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement. This time frame and treatment structure allow for complete healing and the production of new collagen and elastin to replace damaged tissue.

During the first 24 hours after a treatment, your skin may feel as though it is sunburned, and it will appear pink or red. You can wear make-up to reduce the sunburned appearance.

Your skin will naturally bronze over the next week or two, and as you continue treatment, the sunburned-to-bronzed appearance will repeat. As with a sunburn, your skin will flake and exfoliate normally. Use a moisturizer to reduce the appearance of dry flakes.

Clinical studies suggest that on average, an effective treatment regimen is 3 to 5 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Depending on your condition and schedule, you and the physician may choose to space treatment sessions further apart.

How Do I Protect My Skin After Treatment?

Wear sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher, avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 months after your last treatment, and wear a wide-brimmed hat when you're in the sun.

   WHAT DO PATIENTS SAY ?

At almost 50, thanks to my dermatologist and his skill, combined with a very healthy lifestyle, people never guess me at more than 40. What a great second half of life when I can look in my mirror to put on my make-up and actually LOVE looking at my skin! Fraxel was the underpinning of my transformation.
Linda, Age 49
